CASE STUDY / LivFresh

THE PRODUCT
WORKED
DIFFERENTLY.

So the creative couldn't look or sound like every other toothpaste ad in the feed.

the Product Story

THIS WASN'T ANOTHER MINTY PASTE.

LIVFRESH wasn't asking customers to pick another flavor of toothpaste. It was asking them to understand a completely different way of dealing with plaque.

The brand centers its product around Activated Edathamil — a patented mechanism designed to break the molecular bond between plaque and the tooth surface, making buildup easier to remove and helping prevent new plaque from attaching. That's a much stronger story than “cleaner teeth.” It's also a harder one to communicate in a two-second scroll.

the product truth

BREAK THE BOND.
DON'T JUST SCRUB THE SURFACE.

Traditional category language is easy to understand: whitening, fresh breath, mint, foam, clean.

LIVFRESH has those outcomes, but the more ownable story is the mechanism underneath them. Its gel is built around Activated Edathamil and a molecular approach to plaque rather than relying on abrasives as the entire story.

That gave us something most performance teams would kill for: a real product difference that could generate dozens of creative angles.

THE PRODUCT STORY WASN'T MISSING.

THE CREATIVE JOB WAS TURNING IT INTO SOMETHING PEOPLE COULD UNDERSTAND IN THE FEED.

the Product Story

THIS WASN'T ANOTHER MINTY PASTE.

The story was credible. The challenge was compression. How do you explain a patented dental-gel mechanism before the thumb moves?

Too technical and the ad turns into a lecture. Too generic and LIVFRESH becomes “another toothpaste.” Too promotional and you lose the thing that makes the product believable.

So the work had to turn one complicated product truth into multiple simple reasons to stop, understand and care.

the story engine

ONE PRODUCT.
FIVE STORIES WORTH TESTING.

The point wasn't to invent random ad concepts. It was to keep reframing the same real product advantage from different customer entry points.

01 / CATEGORY REFRAME

THIS ISN'T STANDARD TOOTHPASTE.

Lead with the fact that LIVFRESH is a dental gel built around a different cleaning mechanism.

WHY PLAQUE LETS GO.

Turn Activated Edathamil and the molecular-bond story into simple visual explanations people can understand immediately.

03 / PROOF

THE CLAIM NEEDS RECEIPTS.

Use the brand's clinical studies, patents and professional credibility to make a different product feel believable.

CREDIBILITY BEFORE HYPE

04 / OUTCOME

CLEANER TEETH PEOPLE CAN FEEL.

Translate the mechanism back into the things customers actually care about: plaque, gums, tartar, breath and a cleaner-mouth feel.

SCIENCE → BENEFIT

05 / EXPERIENCE

IT FEELS DIFFERENT TOO.

Use the gel texture, non-abrasive positioning, flavor variants and “no fuzzy feeling” experience as additional hooks.

built inside the culture

NOT JUST A
SUPPLEMENT BRAND.
A LIFTING BRAND.

Gains has spent years close to the people it sells to — bodybuilders, competitors, serious lifters and athletes. That includes work around Iron Man Magazine and Natural Olympia, where the brand shows up inside the culture instead of advertising at it from the outside.

THE BRAND HAS TO FEEL LIKE THE ROOM.

When the customer lives around barbells, prep, competition and progress, soft generic supplement branding gets ignored.
